Here is a delicious campaign for a restaurant company in Northern California, From the Heart Kitchen and Pie Shop. The most noticeable feature of this restaurant is how busy it is on a Monday with many satisfied customers. The staff is super happy and helpful, the menu is amazing, and the food tastes so delicious.

The owners are working on a rebrand with new menus, advertising assets, and delivery truck wrappers. We worked together virtually to plan the shot list and mood board. I staged all of the props before packing them to shoot on location. On the day of the shoot, the culinary team really went above and beyond to make everything fresh to the minute for the shoot. And I worked with each item to find its best angle. Then I styled it for the camera. The owner John Dix was on the set to provide his valuable input.

Check out my favorite sandwiches, breakfast bowls, and bakery hero images below. The bakery team made many of their items for the first time for the new menu. They are rolling out an amazing donut menu complete with their own recipe for “cronuts.”

Before and After

This fried chicken sandwich came out of the kitchen loosely assembled as per my request. It contains the real food that would be eaten by the customer. Restaurants always prefer this strategy but it is easy to help them tidy and style everything to look beautiful. It was retouched lightly during post-production to keep it natural. I love to leave all of the crispy details that tell the viewer, “this is made from scratch and it is so delicious.”
