Born in the Marche Region of Italy, and raised in Milan, Francesco Tonelli is a photographer whose style was born from a deep and passionate understanding of food. A former professional chef, restaurateur and teacher, Francesco worked in kitchens across Europe and served as a professor of culinary arts at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, before picking up a camera to explore the art of digital image capture. His comfort with food, the process and people who create food, has endeared him to renowned chefs, creatives and food marketing professionals alike.

FellowHQ recently featured Francesco in a beautifully worded piece entitled, “Francesco Tonelli: From Master Chef to Photographer” which takes the reader on an in-depth look into his career – from his beginnings in a kitchen to becoming a professional food photographer with a 3,000 square foot studio over-looking Manhattan.
