New York still-life photographer and tabletop director
Aaron Cameron Muntz focuses his passion and creative energy on a holistically balanced work environment that allows his studio to experiment, collaborate and foster deeper and more nuanced relationships with his clients and teams to produce incredible campaign work for cosmetics, products, food & drink stories.

I recently posted a picture of my empty studio, a blank canvas where the possibilities are endless. It’s my laboratory, where I have the freedom to experiment and play whether solo or with a trusted team of equally talented artists. This work and play is about finding balance, the tug and pull of ideas and mediums ultimately create elevated experiences and thoughtful, powerful imagery.

I understand the call to have a niche, but as I continue to grow and define my work and myself, I find it even more important to enjoy the creative process, to have a clear vision and consistent approach no matter what the subject matter.

I lean towards cosmetics and liquids. It’s so rewarding to capture light in a bottle, to find the beauty in a tone or mood that feels still and quiet. And I love working with things that flow and drip, splash and create movement. Words that come to mind: messy, flowing, dynamic.

Depending on what the project requires, I always look to partner with the best people who are right for that job. I learned early on that you can’t be the best at everything, but you can find the best to work alongside you. I value the partnerships and imaginations and artistry that take a project to the next level. It’s exciting to watch my team grow and evolve. It may be cliché but I truly believe teamwork makes the dream work.
