Photographer Genevieve Caron was challenged to create imagery for Reiki master, friend and art director Pearce Cacalda.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation administered by laying of hands, channeling energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate natural healing.
“Rei†means “Universal†and “Ki†means “Life force energy†and the Reiki practitioner simply acts as a conduit that channels this healing energy, radiating it through the hands.
In keeping with the natural theme Caron captured the images using light, movement, and time – no photoshop.
Reiki is a form of natural healing, realigning energy, guiding one to feel refreshed, rebalanced, grounded and connected to oneself.
The images Caron created support the Reiki concept, capturing a person’s energy.
