Kevin Arnold recently traveled to the Brazilian Amazon to document the Sao Felix do Xingu region, an area that has suffered the highest rate of deforestation in the Amazon, for an article in The Nature Conservancy magazine.
Kevin says:
“It was fascinating to travel to this area for this shoot and be able to see first hand the efforts of The Nature Conservancy. The efforts of the Conservancy and the Brazilian government are slowly improving the statistics by encouraging new rules and tools to keep the land intact, while also still allowing the people of Sao Felix to make a living.”
