I took a break from posting about my business last week out of respect for more important social messages and images being shared around our country. In my own self-reflection and thinking of ways to be better, I acknowledged that testing is a big part of that process for me, professionally. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you wanted them to, and other times, the end result is more than you imagined. This particular series began as a nebulous plan to test movement in water. As someone who grew up boating on a large lake and now enjoys that same experience with my own family, an anchor felt like an obvious choice. @realdws my right hand man, and I set up a pulley system and large tank of water in the studio and went to town… I love that each take created a unique and beautiful effect.
