We photographed real animals at two locations. First, a sheep farm and then a wolf rescue. Paul really became the sheep whisperer, he wrangled them so perfectly, getting the shots that we needed.
Extensive research was needed to achieve the correct stance of the wolf and facial expression.
We went from a snarling to an intense focused-on-it’s-prey expression.
