Kaleb White is a Midwest family man with a simple life, a solid handshake, and a camera always at the ready. After a decade in creative direction and marketing, he traded office life for a pair of cameras and set out to see the world.

Along the way, he’s collected countless wild stories—and just as many scars. The awards, collaborators, and close calls exist on a list somewhere, but they’re best shared around a fire with good food and a drink.

Rooted in Midwestern practicality, Kaleb brings a sharp eye for detail, trust built over years, and a gritty adaptability. His camera bag is packed with hard-earned skills, allowing him to anticipate needs and deliver on every promise.

Over the past year, Kaleb has traveled across five continents documenting extraordinary female athletes for ‘HER’, a global project alongside Herbalife that reveals what strength looks like.

atedge: Who are some of the athletes featured in the documentary?

Kaleb White: We feature incredible women from around the world. The project follows extraordinary women who refuse to be confined by traditional limitations. Sofia Malkogeorgou embodies the duality of the modern woman… an Olympic artistic swimmer from Athens whose sport demands both extreme physical power and unwavering grace. Italian fencer Three-time Olympian, Arianna Errigo redefines what’s possible, returning to a championship just six months after delivering twins via C-section. Peruvian midfielder Xioczana Canales represents a generation breaking barriers in South American soccer, while Oregon’s Heather Jackson achieved something incredibly rare… becoming a six-time IRONMAN champion and record-breaking disciplines including triathlons, gravel cycling and ultra-running. In Indonesia, Paralympic champion Leani Ratri Oktila transforms a life-altering motorcycle accident into fuel for greatness, becoming her country’s most decorated badminton player.

Sofia Malkogeorgou

Sofia is a talented artistic swimmer from Greece. Born in 1998, she’s battled through injury, burnout, underfunded programs, and the weight of expectation to rise as one of the fiercest competitors in her sport. A five-time World Championship contender and two-time European bronze medalist, Sofia’s journey is marked by sacrifice and grit. Through injury and pressure, she’s continued to defy all odds. From managing mental health to challenging cultural norms around women in sport, Sofia has become more than an athlete — she’s a symbol of unbreakable strength.

Heather Jackson

Heather Jackson—six‑time Ironman champ, ultra‑runner, gravel cyclist, and endurance force. Almost 15 years of commitment, resilience, and performance. Xioczana Canales

Xioczana is a prominent player in women’s football ⚽ As Peru’s first female athlete to receive a professional sports team contract, she is breaking barriers and redefining excellence. Her journey from local leagues in Villa El Salvador, Peru, to the international stage is a testament to her passion and determination. From winning major football tournaments and scoring in international games, she showcases her versatility and skill on the field.

Arianna Errigo

Three-time Olympian, Arianna Errigo redefines what’s possible.

A left-handed champion, her decisive, quick, and instinctive style often leads her to close matches quickly, earning her the nickname “TsunAri. [a play on the word ‘tsunami’]. In March 2023, she gave birth to twins, Mirea and Stefano, and in July of the same year, she won the team world title and individual silver in Milan. A stellar career, rich in achievements: her palmares boasts 3 Olympic medals (team gold and individual silver in London 2012, team bronze in Tokyo 2020). But also 22 world championships and 19 European championships.

Leani Ratri Oktila

In Indonesia, Paralympic champion Leani Ratri Oktila turned a life-altering motorcycle accident into the foundation of a historic career, becoming her nation’s most decorated badminton player. Believing her future in the sport was over after her 2011 accident, she returned with extraordinary resolve—ultimately dominating para badminton’s debut at Tokyo 2020 with two gold medals and a silver.
Her momentum has only grown. With two more golds at the 2024 BWF Para Badminton World Championships, she now stands as the most successful female Para badminton athlete in history, boasting six World titles and an unmatched legacy of resilience and excellence.
