Had a great time this week with my favorite knight of the realm Sir Nick Faldo at his 1st annual Major Invitational Tournament. Kids from around the world were brought here to Bella Colina to compete in team and individual play, with each team being sponsored by a Major winning golfer (Spieth, Rory, DJ, Annika, Stenson,etc). Lots of pros showed up to support the kids and some amazing junior golf was played( one kid shot -8 in 20+ mph winds). Team Dustin Johnson from my home state of South Carolina won the team category, Tom Kibbin of Ireland (Team McIlroy) took home the mens, and Corey Lopez from Mexico took home the Womens. Great event, great for these future pros, and great to see legends like Faldo, Peter Jacobson, Nancy Lopez, Annika Sorenstan, Jerry Pate, Tony Jacklin, Henrik Stenson all show up to support the kids and the event.
