Establishing a business post 9/11 was tough and not every day (or month, even) was packed solid with work. I filled my down time with travel, telling my 20-something year old self that it was a great opportunity to see the world, hone my landscape photography skills, and build a huge repository of stock images. I was surprised and very honored to have this series awarded in Applied Arts Photo Annual, shot on the small island of Kvitsøy, off Norway’s western coast. Here’s to hoping someday soon we can all get out there and explore some more of this beautiful world!
