This spring, acclaimed photographer Brian Hodges journeyed to Uganda with charity organization CAFWA to document the people and sights of the region hardest hit by the conflict with the LRA.
Traveling to extremely remote areas, Brian experienced first-hand what it takes to rebuild communities destroyed by war. His images capture the hardship of post-conflict life as well as the beauty and resilience of the women served by donations from CAFWA and its members.
The trip was immensely enriching for me, and I look forward to identifying other charitable organizations who can use photography to advance their cause. — Brian Hodges
