We are excited the campaign we photographed for Travel Wyoming was selected for the 2019 Communication Arts Advertising Annual.
I have worked with this creative team for many years, and we have a very collaborative relationship. When talking about this image during pre-production, the agency initially had a different idea. Knowing that this team is always looking to create the absolute best work, I brought up another approach to tell the story visually and included examples of the original sketch along with my vision for pulling off a more compelling visual. Because the idea had already been sold to the client, we agreed to create both on the shoot day. Everyone ended up liking the new approach, and it feels good to raise the bar and make it the best it can be. I am excited my peers in the industry thought it was worthy of inclusion in the Communication Arts Advertising Annual.
