For the project, Tim Tadder and other legendary photographers such as Steve McCurry, Jeremy Cowart, Stephen Wilkes, Elizabeth Carmel, Amy Toensing, Lois Greenfield, Gregory Crewdson, Mark Seliger, Monica Stevenson and John Paul Caponigro were approached by Epson to appear in a video to share their inspirations, processes and views on the importance of the photography print.
Tim says, “So much time and energy goes into making the photograph. If the print is not perfect, it is not worthy of a print. It is not worthy of sharing.”

AtEdge photographer Tim Tadder just released a new set of beautiful, double-exposure portraits starring 15 Major League Soccer athletes.
From his Behance,
Earlier this year we were assigned to shoot 15 stars from the Major League Soccer league as part of a Capri Sun sponsorship. We were given 15 minutes to shoot action, portraits and players interacting with product. A lot to do in a short amount of time. I knew if I had even one minute with each player at the end of that blitz, I would want to create these double exposure images. Inspired by the many uses of the double exposure technique appearing everywhere from True Detective to portfolios all over behance.net, I decided to put my sport centric twist on them.
Using backgrounds from the location of the 2014 World Cup, like the warm depth filled Rio sunscapes with their soccer fields and stadiums like The Maracana, provided quite interesting insets for the doubles with their unique textures. So much of this sport is played in the mind and these images let the audience imagine the thoughts and aspirations of the professionals that dedicate their lives to this beautiful game.
Tim Tadder has a new collaborative personal project he wants you to see.
Couture Children delves into the visual relationship between the tones and textures of children’s couture clothing and fantastic landscapes.
The result is a great set of images, but it also sets the bar for me to dig deeper into this relationship and explore more. I feel there is more to this and it deserves a second look.
I am inspired to revisit this ASAP. So please review this let me know what you think, full credits to follow on our Behance profile, but special thanks to Hugo Ceneviva leading the post production. Share and provide feedback, we appreciate your input.
