Shaun Fenn and his team were approached by Brownstein Group to collaborate on a project for Dupont, a brand that develops high-end material called Sorona used in fabrics for outdoor clothing by clients like North Face and Lululemon.
The team was tasked with putting a visual emphasis on the fabrics as the “star” or “hero” in the shots and they accomplished this by getting out on the road and shooting organically to achieve different lifestyle scenarios.
“One of our favorites was the road trip story of a group of 5 people in a Jeep heading up to a mountain cabin for the weekend. We did have a little bit of a challenge finding snow that late in the season but Paige Dorian and her production team came through like always.”
Shaun is a California-based commercial image maker that made his way to photography though his background in video production for agencies like J. Walter Thompson & Saatchi and Saatchi. Whether shooting for commercial clients such as Camel, GE, Charles Schwab, FedEx or for editorial assignments for publications like The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, or Discovery Magazine, Shaun’s imagery shows appreciation for his subjects with the ease that comes from growing up in the West Coast beach culture. Shaun’s work is often described as bold, powerful and filled with emotion, resulting in awards from Communication Arts, APA, PDN and other notable publications.
