Happy Family is a fantastic brand that puts lots of healthy organic veggies into their minimally processed baby and toddler foods. The concept behind my recent stills shoot with the brand was all about kids loving their vegetables. Creative Director Becca Kovalcik imagined children using carrots as drumsticks, making âspinach angelsâ as if in the snow, and cuddling butternut squash and big bunches of beets like dolls. She tasked my team with creating high-energy images that would show a true love for veggies and really direct attention to the vibrancy and freshness of the produce. Wrangler Melanie Sawyer (whose energy never ceases to amaze me) was a key ingredient in making this happen. In fact we had a really stellar team, many of whom you can see in the behind the scenes video that I produced/directed.
