In the midst of a cold, wet and grey Chicago winter,Â Moab beckoned. Five days hiking, relaxing and shooting for pleasure was the perfect way to bridge the seasons.Â Â I can’t help but be in awe of natureâs raw beauty there ~ the tallest spire is the height of an 80 story building. Although I’d been there before, once while working on a Marlboro shoot with the cowboys running cattle in the fields below, I still see new views of the vast landscapes. Slickrock canyons, mesas, arches, sandy trails to walk barefoot on, these feed my soul. The sign says “trail ends,” but we walked on.
