One of the benefits of working in an office where professional photographers come and go on a regular basis is that you never know what’s they’re going to become fascinated with and feel the need to photograph. Perhaps you’ll get a heroic portrait of yourself or a perfectly lit product shot of the ceramic mug your 6-year-old niece made for you for Christmas that holds pens better than it holds coffee… that half eaten taco on your desk could become art, if framed by the right person! Such is the story of Chèvre, the toy Pomeranian who scuttles around our office from time to time. Try as she might, when Judy Starkman saw Chevie, she simply couldn’t resist the temptation to scoop her up and photograph her, and Chevie happily obliged.
