Eme // Street Art

Say the words “Street Art” and an array of possible images, emotions, and feelings can stream through your head. Whether these diverse attitudes toward the medium are conjured up by generational gaps, political views, perception of art, or general adherence to lawfulness, one thing can be certain…the majority of us do not think of “beauty” when we think of street art. Urban, gritty, politically charged, alluring, thought provoking, counter culture, and profound, maybe… but beauty?

Spanish artist Eme seeks to add words like beauty, playful, humorous, and fun to the definition of street art with her light subjects, comical characters and simple color plates. Enjoy…
