Limited Edition Carpet approached Corriette Schoenaerts to make a campaign that would set them apart as high-end creative forerunners in the interior business. They wanted to step away from the visual language that is commonly used today in the interior world and speak a more artistic one.
“As LE is a Belgian company, inspiration was drawn from the rich tradition of Belgian Surrealistic painters. The carpets are used as a stage upon which life takes place. The campaign shows five different tranches de vie in which the every day life and the absurdity of life is being portrayed. In the photography these scenes literally sink into the carpet, visually they become one, symbolizing the ultimate integration of the daily life and the carpet.”
