Back in May we were approached by Venables Bell & Partners with an enticing challenge. Â As part of their new West of Expected campaign Skyy Vodka was looking for a refresh of their bottle photography, acknowledging the classic graphic look familiar to their consumers while bringing in a new more natural Napa California inspired approach. Â We flew to San Francisco, home of Skyy, for this one and spent two days on set finding just the right look. Â Using 4 packs, 13 lights, 21Â C-stands, 13800 watt seconds, 3 rolls of diffusion, 2Â 8×8Â V-flats, and 1Â 2×4 piece of plexi we arrived at the final style. Â Iâ€™m stoked to have been given the opportunity and creative freedom to develop a new stylistic interpretation for such an iconic brand. Â
