The Gronk

The Gronk

5:00 AM call times are not always my favorite, but you have to get up pretty early if you want to catch Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski.  He holds 9 NFL records as the tight end  for the New England Patriots and can run a 40 yard dash in 4.61 seconds.  Pretty amazing considering he stands tall at 6’6″ and is 265 lbs.  This was the final art for the book “It’s Good to Be Gronk.”   You can catch up with Rob at GronkNation or better yet, party with Rob on the GronkPartyShip.  I think it just might be Good to Be Gronk.

Viva la France

Viva la FranceI had the wonderful experience of working with Dassault Aviation and the newly designed Falcon 900 LX private jet. I shot these using the 80 megapixel back as capturing the refined detail was key.  It is a bit difficult to see that detail in this simple blog post, but c’est la web.  They look great in print and at full resolution.  I am looking forward to the lifestyle segment coming soon. @DassaultFalcon

Cheers!

Cheers!

Take 60 executives, divide that by 3 hours and you have the “3 minute headshot.”  It was a busy day with very busy people. We had the opportunity to work with the guys and girls that make good times for many fans of their products. It was a really a pretty interesting project for me to see so many faces & personalities in such a short amount of time. The images are not necessarily what each individual would choose for their representative photo, but more of a “photographers edit” of some of the shots that said something interesting to me.

Raising a glass to the people that keep us in the best sprits! (Corona Extra, Corona Light, Estancia, Modelo Especial, Paul Masson, and Casa Noble Tequila to name a few.)

Thanks for the colorful shoot. Cheers guys!

RASCAL FLATTS MAKES HISTORY AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL

BY SUSAN STAPLETON

Fifteen years ago, Rascal Flatts released “Prayin’ for Daylight,” their first single that peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard country charts. Since then, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney have charted 15 No. 1 singles and been the most-awarded country music group of the past 10 years.

Now, the trio has put another notch in their history belt, becoming the first country act to land a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel.
